Premium products and energy efficiency

The cost-of-living crisis continues to dominate the news. While this is understandably having a negative impact on consumer confidence, the message from industry leaders is that opportunities still remain, especially at the higher end of the market and despite the forecast for a ‘bumpy road’ ahead.

In this week’s newsletter, Listers MD Roy Frost, reiterates that rising energy costs are incentivising homeowners to look at long term solutions to reduce household bills. He highlights a spike in activity for Google searches for replacement windows and doors and also points to house sales, which remain at historically high levels.

A lot of those new homeowners, argues Roy, will be looking to renovate their properties.

To make the most of these opportunities though, will require the right products. Products that can deliver on energy efficiency but also a premium aesthetic and high quality of finish.

Being able to successfully navigate the challenges ahead, may well depend on whether fabs and installers have the correct offer at their disposal. Perhaps more importantly, it could rest on whether you have the best partnerships in place to help deliver them.
