G Award shortlist announced

The finalists for the 2025 G Awards were announced last Friday, so congratulations to all those who have been nominated across all 14 categories.
The G Awards are always a fantastic opportunity to celebrate the success of so many hard-working businesses and to recognise the innovation, products and people that make the industry such a vibrant and rewarding sector.
For me – and for most others I suspect – it is the people that are the most important element to the industry, so while the G Award for Best Fabricator, Installer and New Product are always hotly contested, I would argue that Rising Star and Unsung Hero should also be up there with the ‘Blue Ribbon’ categories.
That’s because these are the individuals who represent the next generation of talent – our future business leaders and decision makers – and those that have worked tirelessly behind the scenes, whose collective resilience and dedication are often the driving force for the business they represent.
The very best of luck to all those who have been shortlisted. The G Awards will once again be held at the Hilton on Park Lane on Friday 28 November – click here to see the list of finalists.
And while I’m on the subject of industry people, I’m excited to announce the arrival of Sarah Knight to the Glass Times Magazine team!
An industry stalwart – and former colleague of mine – Sarah brings nearly 20 years of experience to her new role as Business Development Manager on Glass Times.
