Heritage looks enhanced
Spectus fabricator ADM Windows in Sheffield has just completed the installation of nine Spectus Flush Casement windows in a barn conversion in Worksop.
Aaron Fountain, director of ADM Windows, said: “When our customer came to us they were clear what they wanted: high quality windows with frames that would retain the heritage feel of their barn’s original timber frame windows.
“I showed them pictures of the Spectus Flush Casement windows and we took it from there.”
“The windows that reflected the looks of traditional 19th century timber casement windows but with the added benefits of 21st century security, thermal efficiency and low maintenance.
To match the barn’s timber, the windows were manufactured with an agate grey exterior and white foil interior. Black monkey tail handles completed the period look.
