GG Glass has acquired 1st Call Glazing, which will operate from the firm’s ninth depot that has just opened in Mitcham, south London.
An emergency calloutglazing company, 1st Call Glazing sits alongside the contracting business, providing a full scope of commercial glazing solutions from under one of roof.
Sam Grant, operations director at GG Glass, said: “The acquisition of 1st Call Glazing represents the first stage in our regional expansion followed by the launch of the south London glazing business, bringing them together under a single roof.”
The depot has benefitted from a full fit out including new cutting machinery, polishing facilities and overhead crane.
“The south London depot forms an integral part of our strategic growth plan,” Sam said.“We’re incredibly pleased to see the depot fully operational, fitted out to an incredibly high standard, and with a fantastic team in place.”
