Trained for best practice

Ultraframe is hosting a series of training events to educate its installer customers about best practice in surveying and installation.

The events are available to installation companies that install Ultraframe products.

Hosted by training manager Phil Wharf, the events follow a different format to Ultraframe’s usual training sessions.

Ultraframe’s marketing director Alex Hewitt said: “While our training school has been running for many years and has welcomed many companies through its doors, these sessions are different in that each of them is open to multiple companies. Our training sessions are usually for one company only and tailored to their exact requirements. While this is still something we offer, by holding larger-scale events for multiple companies on several dates, it allows us to offer more flexibility and makes the course more cost effective for attendees.”

Topics covered on the surveying course include assessing the site, producing risk assessments, health and safety responsibilities, compliance to CDM, planning permission rules and Building Regulation compliance.

Another addition to the busy Ultraframe training calendar is ‘Helping you grow your business – Take a fresh look at Ultraframe’. This free course enables conservatory/extension installation businesses to take a fresh look at Ultraframe and find out about the products, service and support that are available to assist them in growing their business.

Designed with sales people and business owners in mind, the course offers a detailed insight into the technical details and unique selling points of the entire range of Ultraframe products, how to get the best out of Ultraframe as a supplier, and the marketing tools and technical support services that are available to customers.

The course is aimed at both prospective customers who may be thinking of moving to another supplier, and those who already trade with Ultraframe but need a refresher on what’s available to them.
