G21 Awards shortlist revealed

The shortlist for this year’s G21 Awards has been announced, revealing a new category and more finalists than ever before – up to 11 per category.

The winners will be revealed at the Gala Dinner and Awards event at the London Hilton Park Lane on November 26.

“It’s been an exceptional two years in so many ways,” organiser Tony Higgin said. “But we have encompassed the very best of the industry’s achievements from that time to create what is set to be an equally exceptional event.”

The finalists in the categories are as follows.

Best Customer Care Initiative: Aluk; Sternfenster; The Residence Collection; Touchstone Glazing Solutions; Ultraframe; Window Ware; and VBH (GB).

Best Fabricator: CB Solutions; Dekko Window Systems; Emplas; Everglade Windows; Masterframe Windows; Nolan uPVC; Shelforce; Sternfenster; and UK Doors Online.

Best Glass Company: Cornwall Group; Double R Glass and Roofing Systems; and P&P Glass.

Best Installer: Global Windows; Nolan uPVC; P&P Glass; SEH BAC; Sherborne; The Window Company (Contracts); and Wolverhampton Glass.

Best New Product: Aluplast, Smart-Slide patio door; Deceuninck Aluminium, Decalu; Deceuninck, Deceuninck Heritage Flush Door; Doorco, Flip glazing cassette system; Everglade Windows, aïr MOD Series; ODL Europe, Guardsman Fire Door; Roseview Windows, Ultimate Rose Mk3; UAP, TS008 Soterian Slim; VBH (GB), Q-Smart; Wendland Roof Solutions, The Wendland Lantern; and Yale Door and Window Solutions, Vertex range.

Best Sustainability Initiative: Deceuninck; Edgetech; SEH BAC; Veka Recycling; Veka UK; and Window Widgets.

Best Training and Development Initiative: Arran Isle; Cornwall Group; and UAP.

Unsung Hero: Lucy Daniels, DoorCo; Clodagh Driscoll, Emplas; Sharon Fowler, Window Ware; and Colin Russell, VBH (GB).
