A recent hardware review has seen Burntwood-based fabricator, FineLine Windows and Conservatories, standardise on Yale SensCheck and consolidate its hardware supply through Window Ware.
Despite having no previous trading history with Window Ware, the company made the decision to move away from a multi-supplier model to a consolidated, all-in partnership for their door and window hardware, stripping away the administrative headache of juggling various lead times and invoices.
Central to this new partnership is the adoption of the Yale SensCheck smart high-security door and window locks. FineLine is now said to be leveraging the Yale Lifetime Total Trust Guarantee as a core part of its value proposition.
“Consolidating our hardware was a big step, especially moving to a supplier we hadn’t tested before, but it’s been one of the best moves we’ve made,” commented Paul Gosling, managing director at FineLine. “In this industry, you want a supplier who makes your life simpler, not harder. Window Ware is the easiest company I’ve dealt with in years. It doesn’t matter who you speak to on the team, you get the same level of care and ‘love’ every time. It’s a team-wide attitude that you don’t find everywhere.”
While Window Ware’s extensive product range was a natural fit for FineLine’s requirements, the decision to partner ultimately came down to more than just a catalogue. Having supplied and supported Yale hardware for over a quarter of a century, Window Ware brought a proven track record to the table – giving FineLine the confidence that they were backed by technical knowledge as well as stock.
In an industry where relationships are everything, the strong cultural fit between the two companies proved to be the final piece of the puzzle. By focusing on practical solutions and solid supply rather than just a sales pitch, Window Ware area sales manager, Jimmy Bates, is said to have quickly established the high-trust partnership FineLine was looking for.
Jimmy said:
“FineLine values honesty and efficiency. They needed a partner who could provide the right technical backing for a renowned brand like Yale, without the usual supply chain friction. We’ve focused on being approachable and reliable from day one. It’s about making sure the hardware side of the business just works, so Paul and his team can focus on production and goals.”
