John Fredericks Plastics (JFP) has continued its long-term programme of investment with the installation of a new Haffner seamless cill welder, a move that is designed to enhance efficiency across its manufacturing operation.

The new machine has been introduced to optimise workflow at a key stage in the fabrication process, supporting increasing volumes and ensuring smooth throughput across the factory. By partially automating the cill welding process, JFP says it has strengthened consistent quality, reduced wastage, increased efficiency whilst offering customers a higher quality finish of products.

The installation forms part of JFP’s wider strategy of continual reinvestment in machinery, facilities and systems. In recent years, the company has upgraded key areas of its production facility to increase automation, improve workflow and future-proof capacity in line with customer demand.
