The seal of approval

Nestled in the heart of the Welsh countryside is a stylish farmhouse called Llanerch, initially used as a working dairy farm and today popularly known for its vineyard. The property is regularly visited by guests looking to wine and dineamid the beautiful landscape.

As part of ongoing development work on the property, the owners were looking to significantly enhance its offering and provide guests with a five-star hotel experience. An extension towards the back of the hotel was carried out, with products used that were in keeping with the traditional character of the property.

The owners engaged with Rehau fabricator GRM Windows to install a host of products, and Rehau’s Total70 casement windows in black brown were chosen as they fit in well with the traditional aesthetics of the building.

The Total70 casement windows achieve the British standard BS7950 and PAS 23/24 security standards, and the double-glazed sealed units reduce outdoor noise, ideal for the hotel’s guests looking for a quiet stay.Rehau French doors were also installed in selected points across the property.

Ryan Davies, managing director of Llanerch Vineyard, said: “I was really impressed with the support provided by the GRM Windows team and also how well the Rehau windows fit with what we were after.

“The traditional style of the windows was a perfect match for the property. The windows are amazingly easy to maintain and the thermal efficiency has helped with our overall energy saving. We have received countless feedback from our guests informing of us of how great the building looks and how the new work has only extended the traditional look and feel of Llanerch.”
