Restored to former glory
Heath Windows & Doors recently completed the installation of nine Spectus Vertical Sliders in white woodgrain at a property in Whitchurch in Cardiff after being approached by the homeowners who wanted to replicate the authenticity of their original windows with the modern PVCU equivalent.
Hywel Graham, operations manager of Heath Windows and Doors, said: “Many of the properties in Cardiff still have their original wooden sash windows and they are now in need of replacement. The Spectus VS mirrors the Victorian sliders perfectly but with all the advantages that only a modern day PVCU window can achieve. The product is very straightforward to install too.”
The windows were fabricated by Windoor Mate in Gelli.
