New residential housing development
247 white Spectus casement windows, 25 French doors and 10 residential doors were manufactured and installed on a new 36-home Ashwood Homes development in Holbeach, Lincolnshire.
The newbuild contract was awarded to Spectus fabricator Highseal Manufacturing Company based in Scunthorpe.

The Balmoral Way development provides stylish, energy efficient homes at an affordable price point, in line with Ashwood Homes’ aim to produce a high-quality residential development that will be an integral part of Holbeach in years to come. This meant the windows and doors had to combine strong aesthetics, exceptional thermal efficiency and powerful security credentials, all backed with the BSI kitemark which Highseal delivered.
Construction commenced in 2020 during the Covid pandemic.
“We worked closely with Ashwood Homes and all the contractors on site to make sure everything ran smoothly,” Holly said. “I’m delighted to say that, despite everything, installation ran seamlessly.”
