Dekko Window Systems has launched a new video to help its customers sell Kubu smart doors to UK homeowners.
The video features Instagram influencer Katrina (@greygoosehouse) who, with over 109K followers, is influential on social media on topics such as interior design and home improvements.
In the video, Katrina discusses her recent decision to upgrade her home with a new Kubu-equipped composite door from Dekko.
“Thanks to Kubu, I now know when my front door is locked or unlocked through notifications on a smartphone app,” she said. “I’m also notified when my children have left and returned home.
“The Kubu smart lock also blends in perfectly with the aesthetic of my home, unlike other door hardware which can often be bulky and unsightly. I’m thrilled with this new investment.”
Dekko was a launch partner for Kubu from Avantis Hardware, and since 2019 it has come as a standard feature on all its PVCU and composite entrance doors.
Kubu Smart hardware can be incorporated into the design of almost any Dekko entrance door. A smart sensor is attached to the door, which is then linked to the homeowner’s smartphone. The homeowner can then check the status of the door at any time, from any location.
Once the Kubu-equipped door is installed, customers can purchase a Home Hub from the Kubu website. They can then connect this to their home wi-fi, download the Kubu app to their smartphone, and fit the Kubu door module into their equipped door lock.
A sensor inside the Kubu door module is then activated every time the door is locked or unlocked. The activation sends a signal to the user’s smartphone, alerting them of the door activity.
