Sales reflect ali growth

Haffner Murat’s sales indicate what’s happening in the window industry, according to managing director Dave Thomas.

“The industry buzz at the moment is all about the growth of aluminium,” Dave said. “Our sales show that to be true with many fabricators choosing to invest in our Italmac Spring S7000 four-axis machining centre as they look to capitalise on what aluminium has to offer.”

Haffner Murat is the UK’s official agent for the Italian range of Italmac aluminium fabrication machinery. The Spring S7000 four-axis machining centre is designed for milling, drilling, threading and cutting bars or workpieces made of aluminium, PVC, light alloys and steel. It has a robust construction, and includes main structures made of electro-welded steel, normalised and worked with CNC machine tools, and a four-axis movement controlled by brushless servomotors.

An electric spindle with an ISO 30 tool connection is suitable for material removal processes during milling and drilling operations. Safety is prioritised with a safety light curtain system in front of the machine and safety guards in electro-welded net on the three sides of the machine.

There are 3m, 4m and 7m versions, with the latter offering the option of double working area. Clamps are positioned manually with automatic positioning available as an option.

Part exchange and finance options are available subject to status.
