Trade fabricator TWR Group has added the SupaLite tiled conservatory roof to its portfolio, giving installers a fast, fully compliant option for replacing tired polycarbonate roofs with a high-performing alternative.

The lightweight aluminium system is designed to sit directly onto most existing conservatory frames, working across Edwardian, Victorian, P-shape and gable-ended styles, and covering lean-to replacements, extensions and new-build projects without the need for a new foundation.

“Our customers have been asking us for a roof solution that doesn’t turn a straightforward job into a three-week project,” said Laura Richardson, director of the northeast-based TWR Group. “The SupaLite conservatory roof fits onto existing the frames that are already there, so the disruption for the homeowner stays minimal and the installer can move on to the next job without hanging around.”

With U-values as low as 0.15 W/m²K, the fully insulated tiled roof system delivers thermal performance that keeps conservatories comfortable through the coldest months, and in most cases the work falls under permitted development, sparing installers the delay of a planning application.

Homeowners can choose between TapcoSlate or ExtraLight tiles in a range of colours, with SkyVista glass panels available for those wanting more natural light without losing the thermal benefits of a solid roof.

“A conservatory that only gets used in June is a wasted room,” Laura added. “SupaLite gives installers a premium solid tiled finish and genuine year-round upgrade to offer to secure conservatory roof projects, and one that’s quick to fit and built to last.”

The launch comes shortly after TWR Group added the Iconiq aluminium roof lantern from Eurocell to its range, part of a wider push into roof products alongside its established aluminium and PVC-U windows and doors offering.

“Roofs weren’t something we’d traditionally supplied, but our installers kept telling us they wanted to source everything from one place rather than juggling multiple suppliers,” Laura explained. “Now they can come to us for windows, doors, lanterns and conservatory roofs, and that makes life easier for them and, in the long run, for their customers.”
