Unique Window Systems has partnered with The Georgian Bar Company for its astragal bars.
“We have a production capability of 2,500 PVCU frames a week,” Sunil Patel, joint managing director of Unique, said. “But for us, it’s not just about capacity. It’s about end-to-end quality and reliability. We take a huge amount of pride in the fact that all our products are fabricated to the very highest standards.”
Therefore, Unique switched to the Geofast system about a decade ago.
“The previous astragal bar system that we used just wasn’t good enough. It caused so many onsite complications because it was fiddly to fit. Also, we had to deal with far too many call backs due to bars falling off.
“After speaking with The Georgian Bar Company and seeing the Geofast system, it was obvious that we had to start using it. That was nearly 10 years ago now and we’ve never looked back.
“In fact, it was when we recently recorded our ‘cheers to 10 years’ message to congratulate Philip Dewhurst Jr on his decade in the industry, that we remembered how long we’d been working together.
“The clip system is superb. We don’t get any call backs because of bars falling off, and they always have what we need in stock, with a full range of colours and foils readily available.”
