Prepped and painted

In order for the supply chain to work effectively, fabricators and installers need to know they can rely on their supply chain partners, Doorco has said in its total service promise Customer Charter that was launched recently.

Jayne Sullivan, Doorco’s operations director, said: “Lead times are at the heart of what we do, which is why we want our customers to have complete clarity to provide peace of mind.

“Our promise is that our doors can be prepped in three days or painted in five. As colour makes up 60% of our sales, with no restriction on the colour choice, it is a complex process, but thanks to our continued investment into our manufacturing processes, it’s something our customers can expect in as little as just five days.

“We understand how important it is for us as a manufacturer, to not let our customers down. They are working to timescales with their customers and as we’re at the top of the chain, what we do impacts heavily on everyone else. That’s why we’ve set out our commitment to lead times, so that our customers know what they can expect and when they can expect it. We promise it. We deliver it.”
