Epwin Window Systems has launched a new aluminium flush tilt and turn window, further expanding its Stellar aluminium system range.
Designed for use in medium and high-rise buildings, the new window is said to have a ‘strikingly slim’ sash that sits flush against its frame and has concealed gearing to give a ‘perfectly streamlined’ finish.
It meets all the revisions to Part L of the Building Regulations achieving a U-Value of 1.4W/m² with a double-glazed unit and 0.98W/m² with triple glazing.
The Stellar flush tilt and turn window includes thermal break technology and triple air seals increase the weather tightness while providing additional protection from the elements which is important on medium and high-rise buildings.
As with all products in the Stellar portfolio, the tilt and turn window has patented knock-in beads for fast and easy installation. It also has pre-inserted gaskets, which not only saves times on site, but eliminates gasket overstretch which can be common on aluminium products. And as it’s internally glazed, it makes installation quicker and easier too.
Phil Parry, business development director at Epwin, said: “Stellar’s high-end aesthetics, technical excellence and high-performing qualities are once again evident on the new flush tilt and turn window and presents additional market opportunities for our customers across both refurbishment and new build projects.”
The new Stellar window is available in a range of standard and non-standard RAL colours with a 25-year surface paint finish.
