Independent trade fabricator, Modplan, has further strengthened the credentials of its recently launched composite door range after achieving Secured by Design accreditation.

Liam Isaac, head of sales and marketing at Modplan, said:

“Security has been a fundamental consideration from the very beginning of this project. We wanted to offer a composite door range that delivers outstanding aesthetics and long-term performance while providing homeowners with complete confidence in the security of their property.”

“Achieving Secured by Design accreditation provides independent verification that our doors meet rigorous police-backed security standards and gives our customers another compelling selling point when discussing our products with homeowners.”

Launched in June this year, the new composite door range combines DoorCo composite door slabs with Veka outer frames, the Winkhaus AutoLock AV4 automatic multi-point locking system and premium hardware as standard. Together, the specification is said to deliver exceptional thermal performance, durability and security, while offering homeowners an extensive choice of traditional and contemporary door styles, colours and glazing options.

The accreditation is the latest addition to Modplan’s long-established portfolio of Secured by Design approved products. For many years, the company has ensured its product range meets some of the highest recognised security standards, designed to give installers access to independently accredited products that deliver confidence, compliance and peace of mind.

Liam concluded:

“For more than 50 years, we’ve built our reputation on supplying products our customers can install with complete confidence. Security has always been at the heart of our product offering and Secured by Design accreditation has formed an important part of that commitment across our portfolio. We’re delighted that our new composite door range has now joined that family of accredited products, giving our trade customers yet another reason to choose Modplan.”
