Door choice leads to increased demand
The introduction of the Stellar aluminium system from Epwin Window Systems has led to trade and domestic fabricator Bifold Local investing in new automated fabrication machinery to keep pace with demand.
Liam Duffy, director at Bifold Local, said: “Stellar has the slim profiles that are so popular with consumers and the bifold door has real appeal. It’s allowing us to capitalise on demand for this popular style of door.”
Sashes can be as large as 1,200mm wide and 2,500mm high, with a maximum height plus width of 3,500mm, adding even more appeal especially with wider door apertures.
“Our installers like the rapid installation thanks to the pre-gasketed knock-in glazing beads that save so much time when fitting,” Liam said. “The pre-inserted gaskets don’t overstretch either, which adds to the overall door high-end aesthetics but also eliminates call backs to site. For my money it’s the best aluminium bifold door on the market.”
