“At the same time, we’ve remained focused on the future. This includes a £multi-million spend on an expansion of our manufacturing facility and new machinery, in addition to the acquisition of Padiham Glass in May which lay the foundations for our future growth.”

Rehau is a finalist in two categories: New Product of the Year for its Total70 co-extruded profile; and Commercial Project of the Year for its part in Coventry University’s Cycle Works student accommodation block.

Stephen Beresford, head of marketing and communications at Rehau, said: “It’s certainly a competitive field for both categories so we are very pleased the judging panel recognised the innovative approach taken by Rehau both when it comes to providing solutions for projects and in our new product development.”

An independent panel of judges will now review 54 finalists who will compete for the 12 coveted trophies in the G18 Awards, set to take place on November 30 at the London Hilton on Park Lane.
