On-site powder coating facility offers flexibility
Kestrel Aluminium Systems now boasts its own on-site powder coating facility.
The Aston-based systems house has converted 30,000ft2 of its warehouse to create the facility, which uses the latest Nordson powder booth equipment.
The existing powder coating facility based a few miles away in Witton has now been closed, seeing the 15 staff members transferring to the head office location on which the new powder coating facility is now situated.
Nicki Baylis, marketing manager, said: “The new on-site facility will enable us to improve on our service quality and the turnaround times. By having our warehouse, head office function and powder coating facility under one roof will ultimately result in a more cohesive and effective service for our customers.”
