New system launched
CDW is now manufacturing Reynaers aluminium lift and slide patio door sets, which are aimed at the high-end residential and commercial aluminium markets.
Jerry Webb, group chairman, said: “Our customers are taking on more high-end projects such as installations in restaurants and blocks of flats and, as a result, we have seen rising demand for premium products such as sliding doors, bifolds and VS windows.
“Our decision to introduce Reynaers to the range strengthens our aluminium offering and gives our customers an additional competitive advantage.”
CDW recently celebrated a record year of trading, which saw group turnover increase by 19% on the same period last year and the company hit a turnover of £10m for the first time in its history. The launch of new premium products is expected to contribute to the continuation of strong sales moving into 2017.
Mike Davis, who recently took over the role of managing director from Jerry, said: “We have introduced a second shift that has increased factory operating hours and allows us to supply quality aluminium products on competitive lead times. We also have plans in place to expand our factory and company headquarters to accommodate the increasing demand for our fabricated products.”
