When a brand new Emmegi Comet X6 HP was delivered to Coen Glazing in Galway, some of the team there might have done a double take.
There was no sign of the distinctive classic mid grey and yellow livery which has made Emmegi machines so instantly recognisable over the decades in factories worldwide. Instead, it had been replaced by a much more contemporary colour scheme of dark grey and white.
Coen Glazing probably didn’t know it at the time, but their Comet X6 HP 4-axis CNC was the first machine to be supplied by Emmegi (UK) in the new Emmegi corporate livery, which will be rolled out across all the group’s saws and CNCs in the coming months.
Jim O’Connell, Emmegi (UK)’s sales manager in Ireland, commented:
“Emmegi is switching to a sleek, modern look for its machines which is more aligned to current design trends. Of course, all of the craftsmanship and precision engineering which defines Emmegi is still underneath, but this new livery better reflects the cutting edge software and technologies which are now at the core of the Emmegi offering.
“Coen’s new Comet X6 HP with two independent work areas has already been installed by our team and is operating very well, delivering all the benefits that Coen planned for in terms of quality, speed and efficiency.”
