Double R’s decorative double up
Double R Glass and Roofing Systems has expanded its decorative and specialist IGU centre with the addition of a 2,500ft2 manufacturing facility.
“The demand for something different – whether coloured front doors or decorative glass – is showing no sign of slowing down,” Ian Sims, managing director of Double R, said. “And because we believe in staying ahead of market trends on behalf of our customers, we wanted to add additional capacity to this area of the business before we needed to.
“Our decorative and specialist IGU centre produces hand finished decorative units, the manufacture of units for decorative finishing, as well as the application of the easy-clean system, TruShield. We can deliver any decorative style from contemporary to the more traditional designs, as well as completely bespoke images for something more unusual.
“The specialist division, as with the rest of our business, is dedicated to delivering top quality and offers a wide range of services including: fused tile panels, sandblasting, supply only sandblast resists, lead soldering, and decorative bevel panels.
“The Centre also offers training to customers who want more information and support in this area.”
