I’ve been speaking to a new company this week – Pod on a Pallet – which is ramping up production of its garden rooms. These are available in a limited number of options, and arrive to site ready to assemble within two weeks of ordering.
Since the construction and associated industries have struggled to balance supply and demand in the wake of the pandemic, bringing a product to market that is not only swift to arrive, but swift to assemble could be the rabbit installers pull from the hat for despairing homeowners.
These last 18 months have really exposed weaknesses in the supply chain, and if a product like Pod on a Pallet confidently addresses what appears to be a glaring gap in the market, then there are lessons we can all learn from this approach to meeting expectations.
