Ab Initio has launched the first in a series of six freely available installer focused reports into the industry.
Conducted by Keystone Market Research during June and July 2026, the first report is called βWhat Makes a True Supplier Partner?β and reveals that price is not the main driver of installer loyalty.
Instead, the research suggests installers value suppliers that consistently get the basics right: accurate orders, reliable lead times, clear communication and effective problem-solving.
Some standout stats from the report also reveal that 31% of installers say supplier ordering is too time-consuming, 22% identify lead times as their biggest supplier frustration, 18% say supplier ordering systems need improvement and that marketing support ranked relatively low as an indicator of a successful supplier relationship.

Also in this weekβs newsletter, Allan Brothers has announced that is one of the first British manufacturers to offer TripleEco28 β a new, ultra-light weight triple glazing solution β that is designed to eliminate all the traditional downsides of handling and installing triple glazing.
And Turkish manufacturer, Sunset Integral Blinds, has also announced that its new IGU production line producing sealed units with integral blinds is now operational.
Located in Enfield, it is targeting window and door fabricators in London and the South East.
