Welsh school appointment

AB Glass has been awarded a contract to provide its services to the second phase of work in the redevelopment of the Ysgol Gyfun Ystalyfera campus, which will see £4.2 million invested in a two-storey teaching block.

The Swansea-based company has been appointed by Dawnus, an international civil engineering and building company, to install aluminium systems at the Welsh-medium secondary school.

Technal MY65 window systems, CD doors and MX curtain wall products will be used as part of the project.

Nigel Harvey, operations director at AB Glass, said: “The redevelopment of the school is very positive for the community and we are proud to be a part of this. We look forward to seeing the completed project during September next year.”
