Stress-free project

Rase Steels appointed Tradeglaze to supply double glazing at the Laceby Manor Golf Course resort, set on the edge of the Lincolnshire Wolds.

The Laceby Manor spa and gym will feature an indoor-outdoor pool, thermal suite with a bathing room, a natural swimming pond, and a new restaurant with a local seasonal menu. The project will be delivered in two phases, with the resort expected to open in the spring 2022.

Tradeglaze specified the SPW600, a three-chamber, 75mm polyamide thermally broken aluminium window system. The system achieves 600Pa air permeability, 600Pa water tightness, and 2400Pa wind resistance.

The project will include two statement apex windows manufactured from the SPW500 Senior Architectural Systems profile. This is a flexible aluminium system, designed to achieve a striking appearance while offering very slim sight lines, which can bring in the maximum amount of natural light. The design includes doors manufactured from matching profile – highly secure and durable and ideal for a high-performance commercial door.

All of which completed in RAL 7016 anthracite grey on both sides.

The typical life expectancy of products made from Tradeglaze aluminium profiles is 40+ years, and all product elements will be 100% recyclable at the end of their life.

Rob Hall, area technical sales consultant at Tradeglaze, said: “Our market-leading windows and doors have the perfect qualities for this beautiful project. Our teams are proud of our products and the exceptionally high standard of manufacturing, installation, and customer service we offer. We take the hassle and stress away from our clients so they can focus their time and energy on what they do best, which is to create beautiful buildings.”
