Sleek Elephant One development
Hueck has supplied its products to a large-scale, mixed-use development in Elephant and Castle.
The development, named Elephant One, is situated in a prime location: close to the Elephant and Castle tube station and next to Elephant Park, offering convenient links to the city centre and great surroundings.
Elephant One comprises three buildings and includes 374 new homes and 272 student housing units, as well as a variety of shops, restaurants, leisure facilities and a new Sainsbury’s supermarket. A marketplace is also found at the centre of the development and a basement car park is available.
Hueck supplied developers Oakmayne Properties with three products.
Hueck’s Trigon Unit L facade system is a thermally insulating design and was used to construct the building’s outer facade.
This product was also used in conjunction with Hueck’s Lambda WS 075 window system and its Lambda DS 075 door system.
Leon Friend, managing director at Hueck UK, said: “Our systems offer slim sightlines and a sleek aesthetic in-keeping with the look of the Elephant One buildings. Aluminium is also especially durable, which will help the development to maintain its sleek, contemporary appearance in the future.”
