Welsh aluminium fabricator Dudley’s Aluminium has secured a major contract to support the construction of a new home for the School of Architecture and Built Environment at the University of Wolverhampton.

Dudley’s is teaming up with ISG after securing the contract worth almost £1 million earlier this year. The fabricator will install both Kawneer standard and fire-capped curtain walling, windows and doors, as well as state-of-the-art sliding doors for the entrances.

The 85,000ft2 building will be home to over 1,200 professional learners, undergraduates and postgraduate students as well as university staff. The School of Architecture and the Built Environment (SOABE) is a new teaching and learning facility that will cater for the needs and activities of all students, researchers and professionals at the university.
