Noir R7 specified for contemporary home

The Residence Collection has supplied a contemporary Shropshire home with 20 Residence 7 windows in the new ‘noir’ colourway.

Collaborating with installer, RS Burgess & Sons and fabricator, Stedek Windows and Doors, for the project, the noir finish was said to be preferred over black aluminium because of its smooth texture. It also ensured a contemporary look that contrasted with the white render and timber cladding.

Using the Timberweld joint manufacturing method to mimic a traditional timber butt joint, a combination of side and top hung opening casements with some fixed casements were added to complete the property.

As well as achieving the desired aesthetic, the windows deliver A++ energy ratings and U-values of 1.2Wm2k as standard. This collection is available in 21 different colourways.

David Burgess, director at RS Burgess & Sons, explained: “The Residence 7 windows perfectly encapsulated the modern style of this property. These windows not only elevate the aesthetics but also bring exceptional durability and energy efficiency.”

Jo Trotman, marketing manager at The Residence Collection, said: “Our noir colourway is becoming increasingly more popular and this modern contemporary property perfectly showcases how window colours can elevate a property’s aesthetic whilst still offering high performance and energy efficiency properties.”
