Wrightstyle has won a third contract for national retailer Lidl.

The new outlet in Llandaff North, Cardiff has been designed as a ‘bespoke’ store as it had to meet specific architectural demands.

Devizes-based Wrightstyle is supplying a number of internal screens and doors to Prestige Windows of Bristol for the 1,345m2 store, all fire-rated to 30 minutes integrity and insulation.

Previously, the company has supplied to Lidl in both Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland, part of the supermarket’s aim of improving daylighting and reduce carbon emissions.

Wrightstyle’s range of internal and external glazing systems combine fire resistance for up to 120 minutes with high optical quality, allowing for ambient lighting and solar control.

The company can design, fabricate and install in the UK, and supplies its systems internationally.

“Advanced glazing systems incorporate the innate aesthetics of glass with very high levels of security,” Denis Wright, chairman and CEO of Wrightstyle, said.

“That combination also allows architects to better design smart buildings where, for example, heating costs can be minimised and carbon emissions reduced.”
