Visitors to this year’s FIT Show can expect a little extra excitement on Universal Trade Frames’ Stand F30 – with the chance to win a shirt signed by none other than teenage darts sensation and reigning world champion, Luke Littler.
The 18-year-old phenomenon made headlines earlier this year by clinching the World Darts Championship title and previously became the youngest player ever to hit a televised nine-darter at just 16.
Universal Trade Frames is giving visitors to the FIT Show the chance to take part in a ‘Countdown from 501’ darts challenge. Throw 9 darts, subtract your total from 501, and the lowest remaining score wins the signed and authenticated Luke Littler shirt.
Richard Hammond, sales director at Universal Trade Frames, said: “Let’s face it – unless you are Luke Littler, a perfect leg isn’t on the cards! But that’s not the point. It’s a bit of fun, a great way to interact, and of course there’s a fantastic prize up for grabs. We’re looking forward to welcoming plenty of visitors to the stand and seeing who can keep their cool under pressure!”
The main event for Universal Trade Frames at the FIT Show, will be the launch of its new HeritageWeld on the Residence Collection. It delivers a traditional 90° joint on R9, R7, R2, and the RD range inside and out in a welded window and without the requirement to glass bond.
This means HeritageWeld Residence Collection windows manufactured by the fabricator can be fitted in exactly the same way as any other window, saving installers time and money on site and maximising margin.
It follows Universal Trade Frames six-figure investment in advanced manufacturing technologies, including a new Haffner MAC 345 CNC machining centre.
In introducing even greater control on product quality, HeritageWeld delivers exceptionally low manufacturing tolerances adjustments of as low as 0.1mm on joints, plus greater weld strength.
“We want people to have a little bit of fun but also to show them HeritageWeld, our unique new weld for a traditional 90° joint on Residence Collection windows,” Richard added.
“We think it hits the bullseye for installers, with industry-leading tolerances, a traditional 90° joint inside and out, and the option of unglazed supply. It genuinely sets new standards for Residence Collection manufacture.”
Universal Trade Frames expanded premium offer also includes the Spectus VS with slim meeting rail. With narrow sightlines of just 37mm, it perfectly replicates the dimensions of traditional timber sash window products without compromising on security or energy efficiency performance.
As the largest independent supplier of Solidor composites, visitors to the Universal Trade Frames stand can also ‘get close and personal’, with its Solidor composite door range, which includes Traditional and Italia Collections which are available with Yale Platinum 3* cylinders.
“We’re committed to becoming the go-to supplier for premium products including Residence Collection, vertical sliding sash windows and Solidor composites,” Richard said.
“Investing in next generation manufacturing technologies, but also with dedicated manufacturing teams, investing in our people, we offer a world class OTIF consistently above 98%.
“With industry leading service levels and in HeritageWeld, a unique platform for Residence Collection products, we have something genuinely different to offer fabricators and installers.”
