Victorian Sliders unveils new EcoSlide window
Victorian Sliders has launched its new EcoSlide Flagship window, representing the next generation of the best-selling Elegant sash window.
Developed by Victorian Sliders’ in-house Innovation Team, the upgraded EcoSlide has been designed to set a new benchmark for performance, durability, and weather resistance – offered as standard.
According to Victorian Sliders, this major upgrade delivers performance levels that go well beyond typical requirements for residential windows, making it one of the most (if not the most) robust sash window systems available on the market today.
In the UK, the most severe weather events including extratropical cyclones and winter storms – can generate wind pressures equivalent to Class C3 or C4 ratings. The new EcoSlide Flagship window has been rigorously tested and certified to meet or exceed those standards:
- Air Permeability: 600 Pa – Class 4 (maximum achievable under EN 12207)
- Water Tightness: 300 Pa – Class 7A (suitable for exposed locations)
- Wind Resistance: 1600 Pa – Class C4 (withstands storm-force winds up to 115 mph)
These levels ensure that the EcoSlide Flagship window remains airtight, watertight, and structurally secure – even during the UK’s most extreme weather conditions.
