Value added opportunity
The Aperture Group has announced several new product launches across its WarmCore range.
Robin Baker, MD of the core Aperture business, said: “My intention when I joined the team was to look closely at our product offering, refine it where necessary but, most importantly, ask customers what they want and need, and then meet these needs. I’m delighted to announce that the first among these new product launches will be a brand-new range of WarmCore powder-coated RALs and woodgrain foils with a new WarmCore French window offering following soon.”
Robin said that while WarmCore was a “a unique and much-loved product”, since its launch it has had very little investment in marketing or product development.
“That’s why we are now prioritising WarmCore across our marketing activity to make more fabricators, specifiers, installers and homeowners more aware of its unique benefits,” he said.
The hybrid WarmCore aluminium system is now available in a choice of six new foils and 13 additional powder-coated colours, which solves the problem for dual colour configuration. The new range includes foils such as includes light, ginger and honey oak in super matt.
The WarmCore French casement window will incorporate a flying mullion that opens with the sash. Not only is the window design clean and contemporary, it also provides a stylish solution to meet fire escape regulations where this is a requirement.
A two-part flying mullion end cap provides a “neat solution” for dual colour windows, and the locking mechanism uses Yale-approved gearing which has passed PAS24:2016 testing.
