Printed glass visualiser goes live

Glass processor and manufacturer Gx Glass has introduced its new printed glass visualiser.

The tool allows interior designers and installers to visualise a range of pre-set ceramic printed glass designs in a range of applications including splashbacks, shower screens, and wall cladding.

With more than 70 ceramic printed designs available in a variety of styles such as stone, texture, illustration and gradients, users can view or show clients a range of design options without the need for costly mock-ups.

The visualiser has been created to demonstrate the versatility of Gx Glass’s CeramX Digital printing process. The printing technology reproduces photo realistic detail that can replicate textures such as wood grains, metal meshes, marble and stone for a more cost-effective alternative to the original materials, the company said.

Joanna Lush, business development manager at Gx Glass, said: “The visualiser allows interior designers and installers to quickly view everything from faux materials such as printed marble for splashbacks, illustrations for use on balustrades, and varying gradients or opacities for shower screens, without the need for physical samples at the early stages of design.

“However, while there is an array of designs already available, they are designed to act as inspiration, as at Gx Glass we can produce almost any design via our prototyping services.”
