Upgraded handle

Window Ware has launched the improved Mark II Regal handle.

New features include the new push-button operation, which delivers familiar modern espag handling, and the new positive ‘click’ on close mechanism, which ensures full engagement and prevents misuse, the company said.

Both features come as a direct response to market feedback, and work to enhance usability, improve mechanical performance, and prolong service life.

The newest Regal Hardware finishes in rose gold and brushed copper are going to be high on the wish lists of style-conscious homeowners, and a desirable addition to any fabricator’s product offering, the company said.

With nine different finishes available in total – from antique bronze and traditional black to polished chrome and a more durable PVD gold – and a choice of monkey tail or pear drop designs, Regal Hardware can coordinate with a wide range of hardware finishes in the home.

Other new features include interchangeable spindles to reduce stock holding and colour-matched screws. Also, new colour-coded bags make it easier for fabricators to quickly distinguish left and right-hand variants, saving time during manufacture.

“Feedback on the new handle has been extremely positive,” Window Ware’s product manager Rob Vaughan said. “Fabricators are definitely liking the look and feel of the Mark II, especially as the new features do a great job of resolving any previously reported issues. They’re also confident their customers are going to love the on-trend new finishes.”
