Atlas Glazed Roof Solutions’ aluminium rooflights are now listed by Secured by Design (SBD).
The secured pressure plated system used by Atlas offers a higher level of security than a snap-on cap, favoured by some manufacturers, which can be more easily removed by intruders, the company said.
Atlas Lantern 2.0 product was tested to STS 222, which is a security test approved by SBD. This accreditation details the requirements for burglary resistance for construction products including windows, curtain walling, security grilles, garage doors and roller shutters
