Timber-look weld
Everglade Windows’ trade customers can now offer homeowners timber-look joints on flush PVCU windows, after a significant investment in a new quad welder.
The London fabricator recently invested more than £1 million in new machinery, including a new Rotox SVK 508 Quad Welding machine, which manufactures PVCU windows with traditional butt joint aesthetics to replicate traditional handcrafted timber.
Jay Patel, director at Everglade Windows, said: “This option is perfect for OC-Flush windows, part of One Collection, which was launched in 2019. Available in 30 standard colourways including woodgrain finishes, we launched One Collection to deliver beautiful, modern timber-look windows with the performance and maintenance benefits of PVCU.
“Being able to fabricate windows with a timber-look weld is a stunning detail which adds a new twist on the authentic timber style by creating straight joints, perfectly complementing the sleek design of OC-Flush windows.
