The Council for Aluminium in Building (CAB) will return to FIT Show 2027, bringing together CAB and its members in the CAB Hub.
CAB is the recognised voice of aluminium in buildings. The organisation represents businesses across the aluminium supply chain, including system companies, fabricators, manufacturers, finishers, component suppliers, consultants and specialist businesses involved in the design, production and installation of aluminium products.
The CAB Hub will bring together a selection of CAB member companies exhibiting alongside the association, creating a collective presence designed to reflect the depth and diversity of aluminium’s role across the built environment. Confirmed participating member exhibitors include Technoform, Kestrel Aluminium, Alutrade, Ikon Aluminium, Ensinger, Mila, Deceuninck and Sapphire Louvres.
Nigel Headford, CEO of the Council for Aluminium in Building, commented:
“Returning to FIT Show with the CAB Hub gives us an excellent opportunity to demonstrate the breadth of our membership and the contribution aluminium makes across the built environment.
“CAB is a resource for the whole aluminium supply chain, and FIT Show provides the ideal platform to bring members together, connect with the wider industry and help visitors understand the expertise and support available through CAB.
“The CAB Hub will be a welcoming, practical space for members and visitors alike. It will provide a place to meet, exchange ideas and engage with the issues affecting our sector, while also giving participating members a stronger collective presence at the industry’s most important events.”
As part of its partnership with FIT Show, CAB will also sponsor the event’s learning programme. The association is developing educational content focused on practical and technical challenges facing the sector, including powder coating, warranties, performance and the considerations installers need to focus on when recommending and working with different finishes.
The programme will form part of CAB’s wider commitment to sharing knowledge and supporting its members. Further details of the sessions will be announced as the programme develops.
Visitors to the CAB Hub will also be able to find out more about CAB’s technical support, member services and work across areas including legislation, standards and industry collaboration. A dedicated CAB signposting presence will also help visitors identify participating members across the show.
The Hub will also host CAB’s networking event on Wednesday 19 May, providing another opportunity for members, visitors and industry colleagues to meet informally.
