Bifold hardware manufacturer AT Precision has three monthsβ worth of stock in its warehouse, in a bid to offer fabricators an uninterrupted service.
New strains of Covid and Brexit fears have caused disruption at UK ports, posing a further threat to the supply chain as a result, the company said.
βThereβs been a general bifold hardware shortage across the board, but thanks to careful pre-planning, weβre always overstocked, meaning our customers can rely on us to get what they need without delay,β AT Precisionβs sales director Michael Hewitt said.
βWe manufacture all our hardware in-house, so while our products are of the same quality as those from systems suppliers, theyβre a lot cheaper,β Michael said.
βIn fact, a fabricator making 10 bifolds a week could save up to Β£100 per bifold by coming to us. Thatβs Β£1,000 a week, or Β£200K over four years.β
AT Precisionβs Everglide range includes bifolding door rollers, top-guides, pull handles and hinges, all of which are made from cast aluminium and are compatible with major systems.
The company also promises next day delivery on all orders made before 1pm, free delivery on orders within the UK over Β£250, and a 10-year manufacturerβs guarantee on all their hardware.
