Bifold hardware manufacturer AT Precision has three months’ worth of stock in its warehouse, in a bid to offer fabricators an uninterrupted service.

New strains of Covid and Brexit fears have caused disruption at UK ports, posing a further threat to the supply chain as a result, the company said.

“There’s been a general bifold hardware shortage across the board, but thanks to careful pre-planning, we’re always overstocked, meaning our customers can rely on us to get what they need without delay,” AT Precision’s sales director Michael Hewitt said.

“We manufacture all our hardware in-house, so while our products are of the same quality as those from systems suppliers, they’re a lot cheaper,” Michael said.

“In fact, a fabricator making 10 bifolds a week could save up to £100 per bifold by coming to us. That’s £1,000 a week, or £200K over four years.”

AT Precision’s Everglide range includes bifolding door rollers, top-guides, pull handles and hinges, all of which are made from cast aluminium and are compatible with major systems.

The company also promises next day delivery on all orders made before 1pm, free delivery on orders within the UK over £250, and a 10-year manufacturer’s guarantee on all their hardware.
