DoorCo has reported ‘zero complaints’ about the performance of its Flip glazing cassette so far this year, despite 2026 being one of the wettest on record for the UK so far.

“I’m sure many people are fed up with the incessant rain we’ve had this year but over at DoorCo, we’re embracing it,” said Ben Aspinall, DoorCo’s commercial director. “It’s proving the performance of our exclusive door glazing cassette system, Flip.

“We have received zero complaints about leaking cassettes from our customers so far this year and have in fact, had customers commenting how pleased they are to have had zero call outs on leaking cassettes too!

“Nearly our entire customer base has adopted Flip.”

Jimmy Wood, from North East Panels, commented: “Flip is a great system, it’s completely eliminated the issues we were having with leakage from our previous supplier. It also makes glazing – and on the odd occasion it’s required, reglazing – totally simple.”

Dan Edwards, from Nationwide, said: “The system is both streamlined and extensive. The pre-foamed gasket removes the need for glazing tape and the corners and connectors coming pre-screwed makes the whole system extremely quick and easy to use. The level of variety makes Flip a system that ticks every box.”

Tony Craggs, of Portico, added: “We choose to use Flip for its Foam In Place technology that allows us to say goodbye to glazing tape and wet seals. It makes it quicker and easier for us to glaze our doors.”

Proven real life performance
Ben Aspinall continued: “We extensively tested Flip during development to ensure it is weatherproof and secure, testing to BS6375-2015 and in accordance with EN1027, all supported by DoorCo’s 10-year warranty. The Flip cassette achieved over 1000pa through the glazing aperture during weather testing so we were confident, but it’s great when that performance is proven, and endorsed by customers, in real life.

“Flip’s weatherability is down to the Foam In Place technology. There is no need for glazing tape with Flip, it is delivered pre-sealed which is machine-applied in our Thorne facility where Flip in manufactured (fully in the UK). Not only does this deliver a superior seal, but offers time and cost-saving benefits in manufacturing too.
“Flip also has pre-screwed corners and connectors for even quicker and easier installation,” continued Ben. “A third screw fitted in the corner piece and innovative connector design that clamps to internal and external side of the door and glass gives additional security and stability.

“All Flip cassettes are made from 100% pure, UV stable material. We do not use regrind materials or additives that can affect the integrity of the product, causing cassettes to be brittle, crack and discolour.

“You can glaze a twin vertical door in less than seven minutes, half the time of a competitor system that does not come pre-foamed or pre-screwed. It’s also flexible to use with a variety of door thicknesses and is fully re-glazeable,” said Ben.

Flip is available to the whole market, not just DoorCo customers, and is available in three finishes: Standard, Flat Grained and Flat Stipple. It’s low profile traditional and contemporary designs work with any door finish or styling.
