Silka has unveiled its aluminium bi-fold door to the range which features triple glazing as standard, Thermafill thermal break technology and U values as low as 0.7 W/m2k.
Silka’s bi-fold door also benefits from Silka’s exclusive Silktouch sputter coat technology, offering a smooth and robust finish that helps resist finger marks and avoid unwanted smears and scratches.
The bi-fold comes with a Winkhaus Automatic 3-point locking mechanism that offers a unique, slam lock feature that is designed to ensure the door is always fully locked.
It also features internal pre-gasketed, clip in beads, to allow for faster installation
“We really want to shake things up with the Silka range of bi-fold doors,” said Andy Jones, sales and marketing director for Silka in England and Wales. “They are the top thermally efficient doors available thanks to our ground-breaking thermal barrier, Thermafill.
“Thermafill is a revolutionary new method of insulating chambers inside both the outer frame and sashes, which helps to provide top levels of energy efficiency.
“The Silka bi-fold door is available in dual colour options of anthracite grey and black, with the option for white internally. It’s offered alongside the Silka lift and slide door, rooflight, slim sash windows, and soon to be released entrance door.”
