Security testing complete

Titan Trade Windows can service the needs of its developer customers more proficiently than ever, thanks to ERA testing a composite doorset to PAS24 & BS6375 requirements, Titan has said.

Thanks to the trials done at ERA’s in-house UKAS accredited facility, Titan Trade Windows can now begin fabrication of the composite door solution in-house.

The composite door comprises a Vista slab fitted with ERA’s hardware, including the composite door multi-point lock, door hinges, door handle, and the Sold Secure Diamond Fortress 3-Star Euro cylinder.

ERA’s Fortress cylinder offers maximum resistance against entry by the most aggressive means of snapping, along with protection against picking, bumping and drilling, the company said.

The two-hook multi-point lock on the doorset features twin high-security hooks offering maximum resistance to forced entry thanks to the bi-directional throw.

Titan Trade Windows’ operations manager Ben Vowles said: “We have always sought to develop long-term partnerships with our customers and suppliers, as is the case with a number of East Midlands regional developers with whom we work closely. ERA’s testing means we are now in a position to fabricate the doors ourselves and manage an additional element of the build schedule for the developers and, of course, all of our customers will benefit.”
