Deceuninck has launched a new sculptured sash option for its Slider24+ sliding patio door following customer feedback.

The sculptured sash means that the Slider24+ now suites with the system company’s Heritage Window Collection and the 2800 system. According to Deceuninck, this will allow installation companies to upsell across product ranges, as well as maximise opportunities provided by its colour offering.

“Our fabricators tell us that sliders remain popular with installation companies and homeowners, so we have continually upgraded the Slider24+ to keep it fresh and up to date,” Deceuninck’s MD, Rob McGlennon, said.

“Bi-folding doors re-ignited the interest in ‘bringing the outside in’ but we’ve never seen sales of our Slider24+ drop. In fact, we have had customers start fabricating the Slider24+ because demand has been so high.”

While the Slider24+ is now seen as a staple product offering, Rob believes the sculptured sash option opens up a significant market opportunity as homeowners choose home improvements that call for high value, high margin products.

“The popularity of our Heritage Window Collection in particular has increased incredibly in recent years, driven by a shift in demand to high value products,” Rob said. “People turn to Deceuninck because we have 30+ colourways from stock, which means that not only can we achieve the required aesthetics, but we can meet the timescales too.

“By providing the Slider24+ with a sculptured sash option gives greater access to this market with a familiar and popular product.”

The Slider24+ also has leading security credentials, is exceptionally energy efficient, and can boast market leading weather performance, all of which provides an attractive modern upgrade. Something, Rob says, not all systems companies can claim.
