Product portfolio revamped

Black Millwork has redesigned its aluminium-clad casement window into a slimmer profile to suit the aesthetics of modern homes.

Available in a range of colours, the windows are manufactured from quality knot-free, engineered Baltic pine and then completed with aluminium-clad exteriors. The updated range is now available with a narrower profile, without losing any of the performance capabilities or strength of earlier models.

The aluminium cladding works to extend the product’s lifespan and provides better resistance against the elements. It also allows greater design choice with a wide variety of RAL colours and anodised aluminium finishes available.

The windows deliver U-values as low as 0.6W/m2K – lower than the Passivhaus standard. Available in bespoke shapes and sizes the windows can be adapted to suit almost any style and design.

Gary Hutton, general manager at Black Millwork, said: “We’re delighted to be able to bring this reworked product to market and believe it will make a big impact. We have already had a lot of interest since we introduced the upgraded product a few weeks ago. In fact, one of our customers was so impressed he has already changed his plans for an ongoing renovation and has now specified the new windows throughout the project. That’s always a good sign and it makes us confident that the product really does have a strong place in the market.”
