Manufacturer’s new website

The TWR Group has rolled out its new website to showcase its full-range of products.

Part of the group is TWR Bifolds, which has been the group’s main online shop window. But in the last year the firm has diversified into other product areas, prompting the build of the new website.

Among the new products the group began manufacturing in 2016 were the Rehau Calibre and Total 70 PVCU systems, Warmcore and Stratus aluminium lantern roofs.

The family-run business has been trading for 15 years, and in 2016 opened a second factory in Peterlee – which is 25,000ft2 – in addition to its headquarters in Sunderland.

Terry Richardson, managing director of TWR, said: “In 2014 we launched the TWR Bifolds website and it has proved a great success. But with lots of new products being launched we were keen to shift the focus onto these. So, we have decided to re-launch a new group website.”

Purplex UK built the website using a responsive design. This delivers a better user experience when searching for information, whether the site is accessed on a mobile phone, tablet or desktop computer.
