Inject some heritage style

Exclusive to Window Ware, the Regal Hardware range of character window handles, stays, and pegs can transform the look of any window, the company announced.

The range is compatible with the growing flush sash market and can be used to dress any 70mm window system to give a more traditional look and feel.

With a choice of monkey tail or pear drop designs, this tactile window furniture replicates 19th-century ironmongery, yet delivers modern security and usability benefits. The slim handle base plate suits the narrow sightlines typical of flush sash casements, which means they won’t detract from stylish windows or interrupt views.

Key locking as standard provides a more convenient way to lock windows compared to other heritage-style handles on the market which require an allen key to secure them shut. A positive-stop closure mechanism helps to prolong the life of the gearbox.

Customers can choose between the ornate monkey tail or sleek pear drop design, then carry that theme through with left- or right-handed handles and matching peg stays.

The entire range is available in nine finishes, including antique graphite effect, polished chrome and warm-tone bronze-red. There are also dummy and working pegs available.

Regal hardware has been fully tested and comes with a 10-year mechanical guarantee as standard.

Richard Bryant, Window Ware’s commercial director, said “Flush sash windows are proving increasingly popular, not just to replace tired timber units in period properties, but also to create kerb appeal for new properties being built with a traditional look. We’re keen to support window fabricators in meeting this growing demand with high-quality heritage-style hardware that offers superb form and function.

“The Regal hardware range is ideal for all fabricators who want to inject a heritage style into any window, particularly existing 70mm systems.”
