Hörmann UK will be exhibiting its full range of residential doors at the FIT Show featuring the most popular designs and styles from its composite, steel, and aluminium portfolios, together with a selection of ‘fitter friendly’ roller garage doors.
An expansion to the ‘Hörmann Rewards Fitters’ loyalty programme will be featured along with fun to be had with a special guest appearance by ex-Gladiator, Wolf.
Visitors to the stand will also have the opportunity to win a composite door and many other prizes with an arcade claw machine.
Offering the market a complete ‘one stop shop,’ Hörmann will be showcasing the most popular styles and colours from its entrance door range – Truedor a competitively priced composite door, the high-performance range of Thermo46/65 steel doors and its range of aluminium doors.
All products are supplied to the market Carbon Neutral, which according to Hörmann, reflects continuing consumer desire for sustainable products.
The recognised Truedor range offers installers a wide selection of composite doors backed by the Hörmann brand and support. With over 30 years of experience in the manufacture of composite doors, IG Doors produce the Truedor range from a high-tech facility in Blackwood, South Wales and is the only supplier of volume GRP composite doors in the UK to manufacture its own door slab.
Doors featured on the stand will include the Clima63 thermally efficient doors, the Draig 30-minute fire door and Platinum44, a cost effective steel door set within a PVC frame.
Hörmann’s range of Thermo46/65 steel and aluminium entrance doors offers the consumer good looks and ‘exceptional’ security, alongside U-values as low as 0.87 W/m2k.
Garage doors from the Hörmann ‘fitter friendly’ range of RollMatic T roller doors will be displayed, including the ‘Entrance Gate’ option being shown for the first time in the UK. This option has been introduced to meet the increasing requirement for a compact and reliable door for installation as an entrance passage at property boundaries, with an IP 65 weather rating ensuring protection to both faces of the door.
Operation of all entrance doors and garage doors on the stand will be via remote control hand transmitters and Bluetooth technology using a mobile phone or tablet.
David O’Mara, marketing manager of Hörmann UK, commented: “The FIT show is an exciting time for Hörmann as it provides us with the ideal opportunity to showcase our complete entrance door range. We have achieved impressive growth in the composite market since we launched the Truedor range at the last FIT show and we now have an exciting new website and consumer brochure to further help support sales in the market.
“The Hörmann Truedor range complements our existing range of products, meaning that we can offer a door for each price point in the market, all backed by the Hörmann guarantee of choice, quality, and service. The FIT show also gives us the opportunity to talk garage doors and encourage more installers to expand their product portfolios.”
