Winlock Security has said its new Trimas 3 Star anti-drill, anti-snap, anti-plug pull, anti-pick and anti-bump cylinder provides the highest level of security possible.
The Trimas BSI Kitemarked 3 Star cylinder is TS007 and PAS 24 approved and comes with a 10-year guarantee, ensuring complete peace of mind.
“It’s disturbing how easily standard locks can be penetrated by thieves,” said Alan Parker, managing director of Winlock Security. “The latest research from the Netherlands indicates 80% of locks can be bumped within minutes, and if that doesn’t work, pins can be picked, plugs can be pulled, or less subtle methods such as drilling can be employed to destroy a lock within seconds.
“We wanted to create a lock which was impenetrable, and with the Trimas 3 Cylinder we have achieved this objective.”
Trimas is available in double, thumb turn and half cylinders, in lengths from 70mm-110mm in satin nickel, satin brass, polished brass and polished chrome finishes.
